This presentation will guide municipal employers in handling the often stressful issue of employee harassment complaints. The presentation will address the difference between harassment and bad behavior. It will include a discussion of policy considerations; an employer’s legal duties when receiving such a complaint; and best practices to minimize risk to the employer.
