Event NameContracts Are Negotiable…Except When They're Not
Description

Cities regularly enter into contracts for everything from purchases big and small to service agreements for multimillion-dollar developments to cleaning the park shelters. Cities should rely on their city attorneys to review these contracts, as many times potential headaches or expenses can be avoided. This workshop offers an overview of good practices for City review of contracts, covers many frequently encountered issues, and offers insights from two city attorneys about pitfalls to avoid in contracting.
