Event NameHow to Not Get Yelled at, and Why You Should Not
Description

We all want to serve the public and serve them well. Working with irate residents is a skill that will help elected officials and staff get through difficult problems. It allows elected officials and staff to provide safety to other staff members because they can calm irate residents. While we are public servants, we do not need to be treated poorly, or talked down to by residents. Knowing how to approach irate residents and having a plan in place for elected officials and staff is crucial in being successful.
