Description
Work closely with local governments, recreation and parks departments, and private organizations to identify and prioritize park and leisure opportunities and amenities. The Foundation connects with communities through several ways including:
- IFPR Mini Grant Program
- Sponsor many Iowa Parks and Recreation Association education opportunities
- Provide scholarships to state and national park and recreation conferences
- Research and connection to legislation updates
