CEC is a consulting engineering firm that provides professional services to clients, including engineering, surveying, program management, and construction. While CEC may have started purely as an engineering firm in 2007, we realized our scope went beyond traditional engineering services. As our name implies, Civil Engineers & Constructors, we design projects and build them through our sister company, RP Constructors. CEC is now one of the Sioux City Metro’s top civil engineering companies that offers full, end-to-end professional services, from conception to completion.

CEC handles all pre-construction work, including design and surveying, and RP Constructors brings those projects to life. Our business model allows us to be full-service partners to our building clients. CEC stands behind all aspects of our work because we understand how every step of the construction process should work, from developing the initial idea to laying the final block or pouring the last foot of concrete. CEC is made up of engineers who are builders at heart.

CEC designs plans with contractors in mind, so they are easier to build, which accelerates schedules and saves money.

CEC’s staff is comprised of in-house, licensed engineers, licensed surveyors, CADD technicians, along with a host of other specialty technicians. We also house a professional drone services division utilizing the most advanced UAV LiDAR and photogrammetric survey equipment available today, allowing us to capture hundreds and even thousands of acres a day of survey grade topographic data, mapping and 3D models.

We often work in conjunction with RP Constructors to fast-track the more complicated design/build projects we take on. The ability to rapidly respond and take a problem or concept to a fully functional project is a massive benefit for our clients. The ability to self-perform all work gives our clients an advantage.
