Description

Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU) represents 757 municipal electric, gas, water and broadband utilities. IAMU represents municipal utility interests before the Iowa Legislature, provides mutual aid programs, regulatory assistance, extensive safety and other training opportunities, in-house workshops for members at IAMU’s facility complex and training fields at other locations across Iowa. IAMU serves members under 3 different styles of contractual agreements including the ISEP (Iowa Safety Education Program), Individual Contracts, and Regional 28E Agreements across the entire states’ demographics.
