Description

Region XII Council of Governments was formed by 28E in 1973 to serve city and county governments in Audubon, Carroll Crawford, Greene, Guthrie & Sac Counties. It also has associate member cities in Boone and Dallas Counties. The COG provides grant writing and administration services, comprehensive and strategic planning, city codification, hazard mitigation, nuisance abatement, rental inspections, GIS, transportation planning, economic development planning, and other planning services. The COG provides public transit, housing, fiscal agent services, and operates the Iowa Waste Exchange.
