The Iowa Public Information Board (IPIB) will host its next open meetings/open records training session on August 26 in accordance with HF 706, which was adopted during the 2025 legislative session and requires all new members of governmental bodies to complete related training. The law requires new elected officials and new members of appointed boards and commissions to complete such training within 90 days of taking office.
