Description
In search of a new raw water supply, the City of Iowa Falls inadvertently created a new region of development in western Iowa Falls. While not an easy or inexpensive undertaking, the City’s willingness to advance a difficult utility project lead to further investment by adjacent property owners and developers, creating a mix of different housing concepts and lot sizes to serve as a means of growth in rural Iowa. The city is already seeing residential growth in this part of the community and is hopeful to see the investment continue to pay off over the course of several decades.
