In honor of America 250, the League is inviting cities to participate in the Best Decorated Patriotic City Hall/City Building Contest. Decorate your city hall or another city-owned building, snap a photo, and submit it by June 29 to communications@iowaleague.org. Cities are encouraged to get creative and involve staff, volunteers, or community members in the decorating process.

NLC City Summit Scholarship
The Iowa League of Cities is pleased to offer a $1,500 scholarship, sponsored by Bolton & Menk, to help an elected Iowa city official attend the National League of Cities City Summit in November. Application deadline is July 31. This scholarship is designed to support professional development and encourage Iowa city officials to continue learning, connecting and bringing new ideas back to their communities.
