Does Your City Rely on Federal Grants?

Does your city rely on federal grants?

The U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has proposed significant changes to the federal rules governing grants and other federal financial assistance. The League is monitoring these proposed changes and participating in a National League of Cities briefing this week to better understand the potential impacts on Iowa communities. If your city regularly administers federal grants (particularly formula grants or competitive grant programs) or anticipates these proposed changes could affect your ability to manage or pursue federal funding, we’d appreciate hearing from you. Your feedback will help inform the League’s understanding of how these changes could impact Iowa cities as we evaluate potential comments before the July 13 deadline.
