Property Tax Legislation Webinar

On May 18, Governor Reynolds signed a new property tax reform bill into law, introducing significant changes to Iowa’s local property tax system. As analysis of the legislation continues, many questions remain regarding how the changes may affect cities and local governments.

To help members better understand the new law, the League will host a webinar on June 2 to review the legislation, discuss potential impacts on cities, and answer member questions. Participants are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and engage in discussion about planning for and adapting to the changes.
