Small City Workshops

Each summer, the League hosts Small City Workshops across the state. The topics and information presented at these workshops are geared toward the specific needs of Iowa’s small cities, although anyone is welcome to attend.

Thanks to the 150 city leaders for joining our 2024 Small City Workshops titled Intersections: Where City and Library Meet. This year’s workshops focused on the interplay of library boards and other city officials, highlighting best practices for municipal governments and libraries to meet in the middle on policies, procedures and more.
