The Iowa League of Cities office will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Electronic Payments from State

The State of Iowa electronically deposits all funds owed to a city in an account designated for electronic fund transfer. The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) provides a consolidated Web portal where all state payments can be researched. Information may include the originating department, invoice number and what the payment is for. The Web site will include the current month’s information as well as details for the two previous months.

The site does not require a special sign on or password, however, be prepared to enter the city’s federal identification number. Because the current month and two prior months are all that is available, be sure to reconcile each month in a timely manner. For audit purposes, DAS has been confirmed to be the contact for all of these payments.
