Iowa State University Extension’s Rural Housing Readiness Assessment (RHRA) is a tool that helps communities self-assess their housing needs and guides them in decision-making when addressing those needs. The RHRA grant program supports the use of publicly available information and rural community efforts to interpret and implement changes through development codes, local ordinances, and housing incentives specific to individual community needs.
