IEDA Community Catalyst Workshops Coming in September

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) will host a series of workshops in September for communities interested in the Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program. The program assists in the redevelopment, rehabilitation or deconstruction of buildings to stimulate economic growth or reinvestment in the community. Economic growth may include the creation of additional jobs, growth of new or existing businesses, development of new housing units, increase property values or potential population growth.

The program requires cities to complete a pre-application process and five workshops will be held in September to further explain the program, deadlines for pre-applications and details on the final application process.
