Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Survey


The Iowa Energy Office is set to receive $1.2 million of federally allocated funding for the development of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program, which must flow directly to local governments that were not eligible to receive the federal formula allocation. This program will be intended to help with energy efficiency and conservation efforts in local communities following the six major categories outlined by the Department of Energy for EECBG: energy planning, energy efficiency, renewables, transportation, financing and workforce development. Please fill out this survey if your city is interested.*

**The following cities are excluded from this survey as they are able to receive funding from the federal program. The Iowa Department of Economic Development will be providing information to these cities.

Ames, Ankeny, Bettendorf, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, Iowa City, Marion, Sioux City, Urbandale, Waterloo, West Des Moines. **
